Kawakawa & Tūpākihi Pain Relief Balm | Natural Joint & Muscle Support (100g)

The Power of the Ngahere: A Natural Approach to Physical Comfort

Restore your physical ease with our Kawakawa and Tūpākihi Pain Relief Balm. This carefully crafted 100g salve is a potent Rongoā Māori solution for those seeking a natural, botanical alternative to synthetic muscle rubs.

By combining the soothing properties of Kawakawa with the traditional deep-tissue supporting qualities of Tūpākihi, we have created a high-strength balm designed to address physical tension, stiffness, and everyday discomfort at the source.

Why Customers Trust This Rongoā:

  • Targeted Joint Support: Highly effective for comforting the knees, easing stiff joints, and soothing everyday aches, especially during the colder winter months.
  • Muscle & Recovery Support: Ideal for sports recovery, active lifestyles, and easing the tension in overworked or tired muscles.
  • Aromatic Calm: Our signature blend of Lavender, Lemongrass, and Patchouli essential oils doesn't just smell divine—it helps calm the senses and relax the body.
  • Pure & Nourishing: Infused in Sweet Almond Oil, rich in antioxidants and vitamins, to care for your skin while providing deep, localized comfort.

⚠️ Safety Note: Please remember to patch test before use. This balm is for external use only. Do Not Apply to open wounds, cuts, or sores. If symptoms persist, please consult a healthcare professional.

What Our Community Says

“Ka mau te wehi! It’s Rongoā Māori from the ngahere, not from a pharmacy. My knee discomfort is far less severe since I started using this. It truly supports the tinana (body).” — Verified Buyer

Complete Your Recovery Routine

For persistent physical tension, we recommend using this balm alongside our [Tūpākihi and Kawakawa Body Oil] for larger-area massage, or our [Pain Support Tincture] for internal, systemic support.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often can I apply the Kawakawa & Tūpākihi Pain Relief Balm? You can apply the balm as often as needed throughout the day. For best results, massage a small amount directly into the affected muscles or joints until fully absorbed. Many customers find it especially comforting to apply before bedtime or first thing in the morning to ease stiffness.

Can I use this balm on bruises or broken skin? This balm is excellent for massaging into the skin over minor, closed bumps or areas of tension to support natural recovery. However, because it contains active botanicals and essential oils, it should not be applied to open wounds, cuts, or broken skin.

This is my 2nd tin of Pain Relief Balm. I find it soothing and relaxing and the knee pain I was experiencing before I started using it is far less severe, even though it is coming on to winter.

Ka mau te wehi!😊 I never doubted at all that it would not work it's Rongoā Māori from the ngāhere not from the pharmacy. The medicine from the doctors were making me more sicker, so I decided no more am returning to what my father taught me as a child "which is what heals our tinana (body) is outside!" Regrettably growing up in this modern world where much of the whenua has been ripped away to make way for progress! I, for one am very grateful to all of those wonderful people like The House of Rehua who have saved our Rongoā Māori and the tikanga for the people. Tēnā koutou katoa hē mihi kia koutou

I recently bought the same product as an oil and found the liquid form quite messy. The balm is much better. Not so messy and just as effective.
